Three disciplines. One goal. For youth.
The Youth Triple Challenge is for those who want to challenge themselves throughout the year – on skis, on foot, and by bike. Complete one Youth Birken event in each discipline within the same calendar year, and you earn the title Youth Birkebeiner of the Year.
All participants aged 12–16 years may take part.
Age is determined as of 31 December of the current year.

Once you have completed one event in each discipline within the same year, you have completed the Youth Triple Challenge.
